Have I told anyone how much I LOVE this beautiful girl and her Gorgeous blue eyes? Well I DO! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Anyways My sister came up last weekend so we went down to see her. My mom was wanting a picture of damon and jade together when Natalie came over and took over the photos. So here are a few pictures from that! All the poses are per Natalies orders. She would say okay now take a picture with grandma holding Jade and Damon and i'll be in front holding Jade and so on...

So This took a bit of posing since Jade hasn't quite mastered the sitting but it turned out really cute i think! anyways I would just like to point out the unfairness in this photo. why is it that the boys have all the hair?

So this time of year is the hardest time for me to post just becuase i don't feel like much goes on at the first of the year! anyways here's a short re-cap. I turned 25 in January. Sean bought me an ipod touch and i did alot of online shopping! I read from someone that it is fun to do window shopping online! you just look around at things you want, add them to your basket then close out after your done! Let me tell ya, it was pretty fun other than i had over a thosand dollars in stuff! don't worry i didn't spend near as much! but it was kinda fun! anyways, Our church was changed to the dreadful 1 pm! Jades sleeps everyday from 1-4 so this has been awesome! It really can mess her up but she does pretty good now! she seems to do fine at church and is extremely happy so it has worked out ok! I am now the 1st counsellor in the primary presidency so its been good to have Jade in there to play! Anyways this was the first sunday of the year and Jade was not wanting to take naps, but finally gave up! Jade's been scooting around all over the place, but her favorite place right now is under the coffee table! oh how we love how she hangs out with all the sharp corners under there! she even has been trying to crawl over the bar and gets stuck! its hilarious how she has started to get stuck trying to climb over things! Anyways not much else to tell you! i could talk about Jade and the things she does for hours, but that would be boring and only fascinating to her mother! Here's one more picture of her with her favorite book! She loves to pull up the peek a boo tabs then try to tear them off and eat them! so i have to watch her very carefully!

Christmas

We went down to my parents this christmas and got to spend it with both my sisters and their families. We had alot of fun, and Jade had a good first Christmas. She was very interested in the wrapping paper mostly, but did enjoy looking and playing with her new toys! Sadly with all the choas we never did get a family picture but oh well! Jade got lots of toys and some new clothes, we got some games for the wii, I finaly decided to go digital with my scrapbooking and got the new photoshop, Sean got some clothes and a new gun, so we had a great christmas!
Grandma was reading Jades favorite peek a boo book that she (well I) got to pick out at her well child check up to the grandkids.

Then Jade's Cousin Natalie was playing peek a boo with Jade.

Followed by cousin Hudson playing peek a boo using his new christmas toy box.Jade playing in her new walker that Grammy and Papa Seymore got her for Christmas! She loves it, and so does mommy when she needs a break!

2010 has been more than a blessing. We have a perfect beautiful healthy daughter who couldn't make us more happy. I get to stay home and play mommy with her all day, and Sean has been able to stay busy as ever and been able to try new things this year with his concrete. I am so grateful for my perfect family. I love Jade and couldn't ever imagine life with out her. I love my husband more than anything and am so grateful for all his hard work for our family. We truly have been blessed and we look forward to the new year and new disasters as we really start to baby proof this dang house!

So as you can see from our above picture, we finally went and got our pictures taken. Our family pictures turned out really nice and Jade was very cooperative, but then when we tried to take pictures of just her, she was done. She did not smile and cried and it was a nightmare. Of course the one day that we need her to be good, she decides she is not going to take her nap and is grouchy the whole time! Luckily the pictures of her weren't too bad and were still cute, i just wish we could have gotten just one picture of her smiling, but she was not having it! oh well, they all turned out really good and we're happy with them!

The Sand Dunes

Okay so I haven't ever been able to get a good picture of this so i never posted about it because i was waiting for a picture, but i finally went online and was able to get it off our phone so anyways about 2 months ago sean went to the sand dunes for a couple of day with his cousins/family and only got to spend one day becuase he wrecked on the top of competition hill. I don't know what all happened but he was jumping this jump for the second time and i guess over shot it and crashed into his handlebars, splitting open his chin and below his lip. He got 22 stitches in the chin and below his lip and had a hole through his mouth. It has now healed pretty well although he has an awesome scar and a little disfigurement under his chin but we're pretty lucky that's all that happened! Anyways better late then never i guess. I know my brother's been anxiously waiting to see this photo posted since i was on the phone with him alot trying to figure out what to do about his mouth, so here it is! Hopefully he's learned his lesson, Heavenly Father does not want you riding at the sand dunes, sell your bike and buy your wife something nice! (or maybe thats just my lesson for him!)

Happy Thanksgiving

We went down to the valley this year to spend thanksgiving with the seymore's. We had alot of fun hanging out with everyone. The girls just love Jade and are so cute with her! We ate alot of good food, did a little black friday shopping, and went to the movies a couple times. It was nice to do something different this year and we're glad we were able to take a few days off and spend it with family! I Love this hat! its so cute and warm!

Haloween

Jade was a cute little kitty for haloween! We got to dress her up on Thursday for our ward party. I think it was hard to tell whether she was a cat, skunk or dog, but either way she looked cute. One man said his wife swore i was carrying around a little dog all nite ( a real dog). Unfortunately I had the flu on haloween so I didn't dress her up, actually she didn't even get out of her pajama's that day! Oh well it was fun to see her in it. too bad we didn't get great pictures because she was tired by the time I started taking pictures! I bought a 100 piece bag of candy bars this year becuase we NEVER get more than 15 kids and i really didn't want to have tons of left over candy like i always do so i was graciously handing out the candy at the ward party. Well come saturday we had probably around 100 kids come by! Luckily we had some extra candy in our cupboards or we would have had to turn out the lights pretty early. We used every peice of candy we had in our house! It was fun to have so many kids come by, we really enjoyed it!!

My Poor baby got attatcked by a dog yesterday at work. The dog attatcked him and he turned to try to shield himself and the dog tore into the back of his arm! It was pretty bad and definintly ruined his whole day! He cleaned it up and you could see one bite went especially deep and you could see a little bit of the tissue. I sent him to the urgent care so he could get some antibiotics and a tetanus shot. After being thouroughly annoyed by their " excellent" care he now gets to take a nice 10 day course of antibiotics. they told him that one of them could have used stitches but they just put steri strips over it instead. So that was an exciting day for us yesterday! I had to make dinner for someone in the ward, while sean got bit, then we get home to find out they want us to speak in church on sunday along with a missionary farewell, ah good day....It looks better now that its clean and steri stripped. Bad place for a dog bite though.

5 Months old

So i haven't posted in a month due to our internet. It's driving me crazy! It NEVER works and when it does it works for like 10 minutes. So i've tried once or twice before but I just haven't been able to. anyways Sean has been busy grilling away these days. He bought a smoker and we have been eating BBQ nonstop since. It is awesome! So far he's cooked chicken and ribs, and it is so good!

Jade's been great.She is 5 months old today and it has gone by so fast! She talks nonstop and loves to scream. She screams and then tries to scream louder the next time and so on, its great unless your trying to talk to someone or do something important. Sean and I just give up our conversation most of the time!

We're starting to get her naps down more. This was a week or so ago. She loves to pull her pacifier out of her mouth, the problem is when she's tired she pulls it out and cries, so it's hard to get her to go to sleep sometimes. So we resorted to two pacifiers, and when that didn't work we did three, one for the mouth, and one for each hand! anyways she finally went to sleep.
I was bored one day so we took some pictures of her for fun! oh how i love girls! have i said that already? Black...

Jade is now a little over 4 months old and has learned to roll over! It has been so much fun to watch her! She rolls over all the time, but has a harder time getting back onto her back, so she likes to give up and start grunting which eventually turns to shouting or crying until i turn her back over! It's still shocking when you put her down to go grab something come back and she's halfway across the floor! I guess we need to get on top of things and start baby proofing our home soon! oh joy!

I know I put too many pictures on here but i can't ever pick just a few! oh well! Jade woke up sunday and had a little red draining eye! It's better now though thanks to the many uses of breastmilk!Okay so I know i will have to take full responsibility if she's really girly, but how can you not play dress up with them?

Jade supports her dad 100%. I think she can outdo the competition! Sean got some shirts made and they threw in a couple shirts for Jade! Sean said she looked like a boy so i grabbed the nearest bow and took a few pictures!

Seymore Campout 2010

We had out annual Seymore campout this year last weekend and boy was it cold! We went over by Strawberry and it was so pretty! The days were perfect. The weather was so nice but it was freezing at night! We had Jade bundled in so many blankets we're lucky she didn't suffocate! Luckily we decided to buy a tent heater just in case and we are so grateful that we did! We were prepared for the cold so it wasn't too bad, but we did worry about Jade alot. Adding a child into the mix this year i don't know where my brain was at. I forgot nearly everything. luckily we got the important stuff (thanks mostly to sean) so we made it through and it turned out just fine! It was nice to relax for a few days, although having a baby to worry about made it a little more stressful than last year! We had alot of good food as always, and alot of fun!

Aunt Casi made all the kids tye die t-shirts, and they were all so excited to wear them, it was really cute!

My baby won the horseshoe tournament! He kept throwing those ringers, it was awesome! Me, i'm still a bit rusty! it was alot of fun!

hanging out by the campfire, getting ready for bed. We didn't bring or have any mittens, so we used her fuzzy socks. They worked perfect and kept her little hands and toes warm. Smart mom!

This is the morning after the first night. We had her swaddled in 3 blankets and 1-2 blankets on top! She also had two hats on. All you can see is her eyes and little nose! Funny enough she slept till 10 every morning and went to bed around 9;30-10.This was the last morning we were there and she was so happy to be in the grown up's sleeping bag!

Well now it's Friday, 5 days later and she is finally back to normal! I don't know what it is, but when we take her away from home, she does fine but when she gets back home, she has a bit of trouble getting back into the routine. Every night for 5 nights she's been up between 4-5:30, which does not make mom very happy seeing as i'm use to her sleeping till 8! I get so angry getting up but by the time i make it into her room, there's no way i can be angry at this sweet pudgy face!

So it's amazing how as a parent you are just fascinated at what your child learns to do! Jade hasn't mastered the rolling over yet, but loves to turn from side to side. She also loves to kick and play. She has learned to grab things, but everything goes straight to her mouth! She is just so much fun, i love to watch her grow! This picture is so cute with her hat! I love it! She loves her playmat that her aunt christy bought. the music, toys and lights just fascinate her. she really doen't like to be put on her stomach, but she'll tolerate it long enough for a few pictures!

So at first this was so cute, but now everytime i try to take a picture with the flash on, this is the result! She looks terrified in half the photos i have of her. oh well, i guess i have to remember to take the flash off. She'll be smiling and talking so i'll try to grab a quick photo, but she's too fast and again this is the ending result!

Little Swimmer

Sean and I just celebrated our 5th aniversary! Since having a brand new baby and sean being so busy with work we really weren't able to go anywhere this year. So we decided to take a few days and go down to mesa to hang out and eat some good food! We went and got a couples massage and pedicure and ate at some really good places!

I am so grateful for this guy. I couldn't have found a better match in life. I love watching him with Jade, and the way he looks at her! I love him with all my heart. He is such a hard working, caring, compassionate.. I could go on forever, but anyways It definetely has been the best 5 years of my life!

When we were down there we went swimming over at sean's sister Suni's house. We took Jade in for the first time and it was so much fun. She loved it! she was so mellow and just hung out for like 2 hours in the pool, it was awesome! I love how chunky she looks in that bathing suit, who are we kidding she is chunky! Now all we need is a pool!

So Jade is 10 weeks old and i haven't posted in a few weeks so i thought i'd just post some pics of Jade. She talks all the time and loves to hear her own voice almost as much as her mom's. I don't know about anyone else but those sounds are the best sounds i've ever heard!

So i love how she sleeps, she always has her hands up either in her face or by them! She looks like she's praying in this one... She also always sleeps with her mouth open like she's Exhausted! It's hard being a baby!

I bought these really cute tutu outfits and love to play dress up with her! hey what are girls for right?

Jade's Blessing

We blessed Jade on July 4th and had like i said had most of our family here. It was such a perfect day and she was a perfect baby! Sean gave a great blessing and we had a good luncheon with our families afterwards. It was a real nice and fun day! thanks to everyone that traveled and came up for Jade's blessing, we had fun being with everyone!

So Thanks to my sisters for getting some of these great pictures of Jade. I was busy trying to get the food together and ready, so my sisters took Jade out and took a bunch of cute pictures of her!

4th of July

We had a fun and exhausting fourth this year! we decided it was a perfect time to bless Jade so we had most of our families here for it! It was alot of fun to see everyone and play with all the kids. We went to the park with my family then went to the 2hr parade on sat and had a BBQ with sean's family and watched the fireworks. It was alot of fun!

Jade is now one month old and it has just flown by! She went in for a doctors visit and now weighs 8 1/2 lbs. She has been such a good baby and we love having her around! We still can't figure out who she looks like, but i can see alot of her daddy in her! Anyways, Here are some more recent pictures! enjoy!

I love this picture! Jade was a little fussy last night and kept wanting to eat every hour, so Sean was holding her up trying to calm her. It worked!

So I probably shouldn't be so happy about this thumb sucking, but it's just so cute! She loves to suck on her fingers, but every once in awhile she actually gets a hold of that thumb!I Love how babies smile in their sleep, its so cute! I came out of the bathroom and she was just smiling away, so i was able to catch a half smile!

So my sister got to her post before me, so we have the same post, but Cherie and Nate came up for memorial day weekend and we got to see eachothers babies for the first time. Its crazy that they're only a month apart. I want her to stay small forever! Anyways it was alot of fun and it was good to see everyone! Bringing Jade into the World

So Today i'm well rested and ready to share my wonderful experience. I went in to be induced on the 19th of May at 730 in the morning. I was already at about 3 cm dilated and 75% effaced with the baby sitting at a -1 station. They put a catheter up in my cervix to help dilate it to a 4 before starting induction. I have to say that this was the most painful part even though luckily the catheter only stayed in for 20 minutes. If you don't know what it is, they put a catheter in your cervix, fill the balloon with 40 ml of fluid then put slight tension on it taped to your leg. They then let you control how much tension by moving your leg. Anyways it was so painful i was already considering an epidural. Anyways that came out really fast and so they broke my water around 9:00. They had given me a pill as well to help ripen the cervix so unfortunately I had to stay in bed for an hour to be monitored. I was having contractions at this time but didn't really know what they were becuase my back was killing me. They wanted me to walk a little bit but becuase my contractions were already pretty decent they said to go for about 30 minutes. Thats when i starting feeling the contractions. we were walking around the hospital and i had sean's phone out counting the contractions and the time in between. When we got back the nurse hooked me up and said my contractions were really close together, so they better get me going for my epidural. They checked me and i was 5cm dilated and 80% effaced. They gave me stadol before the epidural for the pain and I did not like it one bit. It made me unable to focus and just kinda out of it. Anyways the epidural went great, and it worked perfect! If i have one thing to say it's that epidurals rock! Anyways everything went well. We did have a scare when my blood pressure dropped out to like 40 diastolic and the the baby's heart rate kept dropping to like 60 so i was given ephedrine IV ( the stuff in diet pills that makes your heart race) and had to get three doses. It was a bit scary, but it was all happening so fast i didn't know at the time what was happening, they put me on a nonrebreather mask and were flopping me in all different directions. I was so helpless because i couldn't even feel my legs. They were also pumping me with fluid and gave me 5 Liters of fluid boluses which looked nice in my ankles! Anyways after she was stable i remained on the mask or nasal cannula but all went well. Like i said my epidural worked perfectly, I could feel at the end when i needed to push from the pressure but i didn't feel any pain. I pushed through about 5-6 contractions which was exhausting but she was born at 9:27. I was so grateful to have such a quick labor and such great staff. My nurses were great, my dr was great, but most of all Sean was great. He was such a great coach i was surprised how well he did through it all! Jade is doing great, she just had her first appt at 5days old, she weighs 6lbs 11 oz and is now, after having a little bit of a rough time, breastfeeding great. Just remember upcoming moms that breastfeeding is a frustratingly learned skill! She sleeps well, feeds well, and has such a good demeanor. I am so lucky. I shouldn't brag but I am getting great sleep cuz she is so good. I actually slept a total of 8-9 hrs last night (not straight obviously). I love her she's the greatest. You think that you couldn't love her more until you wake up the next day and realize you do! Anyways that's it, I hope i didn't jinx myself bragging on her! sorry I tried to keep it short but it's still long!

So I put Jade in the sun to get some of the jaundice out and her and buster just layed there together in the sun for a few hours!So i was looking through my pictures and was like man i don't know why i don't have any pictures or me and jade together. After taking these i now know why! I am still waiting for the day my face won't look like a balloon. So please diregard me, i posted these only cuz jade looks so cute!

So our camera took the perfect opportunity to stop working a few days before Jade was born so we don't have the best of pictures becuase it only works when it wants to. Anyways here are a few pictures of our first few days with Jade. Ill give the details in the next post, when i have a little more time, but she was born on May 19th at 9:27 pm weighing 7lb 6oz and we just love her to death! She is so sweet! We're in the final countdown now, only a few more days left till our little girl will be here! it's crazy, it seems like we were just talking about having a baby not long ago and now we're actually going to have one any day! At the same time i keep thinking, man am i ever going to be skinny again? You forget that you have this 40 lbs stomach protruding out until you ram it into something or someone, like I did at work the other day at the computer desk! Anyways We're so excited, terrified and can't wait for this next step in life! I thought i better post one last picture before she's born, we haven't been the greatest at getting alot of pictures, but that may be becuase I LOVE looking at my swollen face!

Sand Dunes

So Sean went down to the sand dunes in March with Dustin and Tyler and i thought i would post some of the pictures they took. I've never been but it looked like it would be alot of fun and he really had a good time. He said his bike ran really well down there and he was really glad he got to take a couple days off and have some fun!

So I've been kinda slacking on taking the monthly pictures but this one is about 7 1/2 months along. I'm in the final countdown now and am anxiously waiting for her to make her entrance into the world! Anyways, Yesterday some of my co-workers threw me a shower and it was so much fun! We had a ton of good food that everyone made and fun gifts all around! I love the people i work with and am going to miss them when i'm gone!

So this last weekend we had my baby shower and it was so much fun. My friends came up and I got to see alot of people i haven't seen in awhile. We had a good turnout and it was a fun day!

My sister Cherie made this cake, it's so cute!

We didn't get all the food in this picture but we had really good chicken salad, sugar cookies, rolls, Chocolate covered strawberries and cake! My mother in law always knows how to cook good food!

So glad my friends could come! so fun to see them!

Cherie and I are both pregnant. She is about a month ahead of me.

So Cherie and I both made blankets for eachother. She crocheted me one and I knitted her one! they both turned out nice i might add!

Anyways, thanks to everyone that came to my shower, it was so fun to see everyone and I appreciate all the cute gifts i got!

I am 7 months pregnant and am counting down the long days! New things to add to being pregnant, I don't sleep anymore, there is absolutely no comfortable position! The baby is growing and my stomach is now growing up not just out therefore my diaphram is smashed and it sure does make breathing when your sitting up a harder task! The baby moves all the time and its fun to feel her push against your hand, sometimes i can feel her hand or elbow, other times shes just rippling across my stomach, either way it still amazes me and i'll never get sick of feeling her move!

At the end of February we went down to the valley for Sean's niece Livvi's first birthday. It was fun to see her and all the other kids and get to spend some time with the family. She is so cute and has such a fun personality!

We also were able to pick up our crib while we were down there. Our Nursery is finally starting to come together!

Valentine's

So Since valentines day was on a sunday this year i thought it would be nice to do a nice homecooked meal. So we made Crab legs, coconut shrimp and then fried shrimp as well. It was so good! then we had really good chocolate and strawberries for desert! We haven't had a dinner like that for a long time so it was nice to eat some good food! Anyways we like to take pictures of good food for some reason so i thought i'd post it since i haven't done a post in a long time! Anyways, It's been a long time but we haven't been taking pictures as much as we should have but oh well. This is my 6 month picture, or at least somewhere around that time.

24th Birthday

So yesterday was my 24th birthday and I am exactly 5 mos or 23 wks pregnant! Sean took me down to the valley and I got some maternity clothes. Sean got me some nice earrings from Jared's! Yes he went to Jared's! haha anyways we had a real nice time down there and we had a good day yesterday, I wasn't working so we got to spend the day together since it's been snowing all week here! Sean also got me an ice cream cake that's really good! It was a fun day! I am not able to hide anymore behind my clothes, its pretty obvious that i'm pregnant as you can see, but it's been fun to see all the changes and feel her kicking and playing ALL the time, they say they sleep about 23hrs but i don't know how thats possible becuase she is usually moving and kicking those 23 hrs as well!

Christmas

We had a really good Christmas this year! I was able to get a four day weekend so i got to spend alot of time with sean and our families. We were with Sean's family this year for christmas and had fun opening presents and watching everyone open theirs. I got a new camera for the baby and am in LOVE with it! Its the new Cannon SLR camera. I knew i would love it but i never imagined how much this camera can do! it can do everything! So yeah i am amazed and i love taking pictures with it!

Kelton was my first project, He was really close and i was trying alot of different settings so thats why it's blurry. I think he was having as much fun as i was! Sean's family taking pictures by the Christmas tree.

Sean's focused in on the new Wii that we got for Christmas!This year has been so much fun!

Updates on the baby... Well just over the last week i have realized none of my pants fit. It is such an awesome feeling knowing you actually have nothing to wear! The baby has been moving alot and seems to be having a blast in there! Im starting to notice subtle changes in my stomach and really am growing! I'm at this stage where even my scrubs fit me weird. They fit fine when i'm standing, but i have to loosen them when i sit down, then when i stand back up my pants are falling off! So all day i focus on untying and tying my pants, pulling and tugging on them oh and how can i forget the 20 bathroom breaks! But it is all worth it and i'm just excited to be half way through! I have my 20 wk appt tomarrow and am so excited! then we will know for positive if its a girl! i sure hope so because i really don't want to have to take back all my cute girls stuff!

So a little while ago some of the nurses taught me how to crochet and knit. So this is one of my first projects crocheting. It took me a good 4 tries to get them to look like this but i thought they turned out so cute! Ive also been knitting a blanket FOREVER and hopefully i'll be done with it soon so i can crochet a pink one! Ive always wanted to learn how so i'm excited that i finally know how to! anyways i was pretty proud or my booties so i decided to post them.

My Sweet Little....GIRL?

So i went to my 16 weeks appointment today and after 4 hours, yes 4 hours at the doctors office we got an ultrasound of the baby. I wanted to make sure everything was ok. Well the lady asked if we wanted to know the gender and of course we did so she told us its a little early but that she's pretty sure its a girl!! We're so excited, the baby was in a perfect position and the pictures came out really good. She did a 4D ultrasound and gave us some pretty cool pictures! It was so much fun and we can't wait for the 20 week checkup! These 4D ultrasounds are AMAZING! you can see everything. That first picture gets a real good look at the whole baby and the umbilical cord. The second one was a cute side view!

We had a really good thanksgiving this year and spent it with my family. most everyone was up and while we were there we all got a few surprises! I found out my sister Christy is about 8 wks pregnant, due in July and Then come to find out my other sister Cherie is 19wks pregnant and is due the end of April! so we're going to have lots of babies within 2months or eachother! It's exciting and will be so much fun to have cousins all within the same age!

13 1/2 Weeks

So This is how much your body can change in just one short week. I started noticing this within the last few days. The picture on the left was taken when i was 12.5 wks pregnant. The picture on the right is 13.5 weeks pregnant, exactly one week apart. It could also have to do with the fact that the white shirt is really tight. Anyways I know when i eat too much that it feels good to stick my stomach out like that pic, well the last few days i realized that it hasn't gone back in and has been quite noticable with tighter shirts. Good thing i don't wear shirts like that alone cuz i'm in the stage where you can't really notice, it just looks like you've gained a little weight! anyways i'm just a few short days away from the start of my second trimester and am anxiously waiting. Only a month or so left till we find out what we're having! i can't wait!

Happy Halloween

So my postings are so late, but since our camera was stolen we have had to use a nice disposable one so i finally got them developed. Anyways, So last year we had to work Halloween and we didn't do anything, so this year we decided to dress up. So all the Nurses and some of the other staff dressed up and we had a big potluck. We had so much fun! Can you imagine the look on our patients faces when we told them we were going to be their nurses for the day! I was a flapper if you can't tell for lack of any other costume left two days before halloween! I also was one of the winners of the coloring contest and i am so proud so i took a pic of it. That stupid picture took me almost a whole shift alone with flat crayons! Anyways it was worth it!

9 Weeks

So Pretty much everyone that looks at this blog already knows the exciting news but i thought I better post since i haven't in a long time! So I am now 9 weeks pregnant and anxious to be done with the First Trimester and morning sickness! The last couple of weeks were kind of miserable but i think the worst is over and now feel pretty good. Anyways that is not the best picture since we were trying to finish up our roll from a digital we used in Europe. Anyways that's probably around 6 weeks and really nothing to show yet. Just thought i'd post a beginning picture!

Camping Trip

We went camping a couple of weekends ago up by the Rim and we had so much fun! All of Sean's family was there and we had so much fun, playing horseshoes, games, and relaxing by the fire. The kids are so fun to watch and we had such good food everywhere! Sadly this is the only camping trip we did this year! Usually we have more time to go camping, but this summer just went by to fast! oh well at least we got to go once! Anyways the views were so beautiful, and it was so nice to get away for a few days!

Old School

So my mom has recently been cleaning out her house and giving all the kids our stuff thats been there forever. So we were down there one night for dinner and she gave me some old school stuff. Well i came across this paper i wrote where i did six interviews of six people i knew. So i read them out loud and i came across my sister Cherie. Oh man was it funny, just picturing this story and reading it i starting crying cause i was laughing so hard. We all have sister and many may remeber times like these. Anyways here it is:

My sister would never let me jump on the tramp. She use to throw me off and she would never let me get on. Especially when she had friends over. She would stand in front of the place where i was trying to get on. One day i had finally got on the tramp and i was really happy. Well my sister was trying to throw me off so i layed down on the tramp so that she couldn't throw me off. So my sister layed down on the tramp and kicked me so hard that i rolled right off the tramp. I hit the ground really hard, and i knew that she didn't want me on the tramp.

That's it word for word! yes i know the last sentence is Genius, but hey I got 100%! Anyways i had to share that. I still laugh when i read it! hope you had a good laugh too!

Our Trip

Oh man where do I start! What an amazing two weeks we spent visiting 10 different cities in 4 different countries! Starting in Venice and ending in Barcelona on a two week cruise we had an unbelievable vacation with so much history overload it was great! From seeing civilizations, building and churches that were built before Christ, to standing where the apostles taught and preached, to the gladiator battles, to Royal Palaces, there was just so much i can't describe it all! So i can't really go into detail because my post would be three pages long but i'll just give the basics! Mainly i posted pics and i'll just tell you where and what, although some pictures don't need any explanation! So i uploaded my pics backwards so we'll start at the end of the trip and work our way backwards to the begining.

So this first picture is in Barcelona at a church called the Sagrada Familia built by Antoni Gaudi. It was started in 1882 and has been in construction ever since. It is to start functioning in the interior in 2010, but won't be done till at least 2030. Antoni Gaudi was a crazy man, we saw over 5 of his works but this church is unbelievable!

This picture is the famous Casino in Monte Carlo! The hotel to the right costs 5,000 a night to stay in, with ferrari's, rolls royce, and nothing but fancy cars around. anyways we definetly understood why Monte Carlo is for the rich and famous, such a beautiful city with crystal clear beaches!

Ahh the leaning tower of pisa! For those of you wondering, no it's not an optical illusion, it really does lean, and will continue to as the earth continues to settle beneath it! Sean and I spent all day there just staring up at this tower in amazement!

Rome, the eternal city! this is if you couldn't geuss pics of St Peter's Basillica, located in Vactican City. It is the largest Church in the world and absolutely ridiculous! There is so much in that church you could spend 2 days in there and still not see everything! the pic below is inside, and is just one of the sections. Also,Something fun that i didn't know is that all the Pope's are burried beneath this church and there are grates on the floor where you can look below and see the coffins. Crazy! We did see the Sistine Chaple but like a good girl and boy we did not take any pictures inside. Michealangelo would be proud!

This is Pompeii, the city that was buried by volcanic ash and matter from Mount Vesuvius' Eruption in 79 AD. It was awesome. yep.

Totally freaky, and I had other pics but this is an actual human remain that has been plaster casted to show the effect! It is real, not made! The skull of those who were trapped exploded from the heat and pressure. So most had holes in the back of their heads. So gross and sad.

This is a place called Mykonos Greece. It was a smaller town where every building was white with blue shutters. It you've seen Mama Mia (which i haven't yet) this is what is looks like i guess ( i don't know a worker on the cruise just kept telling us to keep a look out for Meryl Streep)! Anyways It was a fun town!

Istanbul! What a great city, and it was not scary, but we were only in touristy areas. anyways this is the Hagia Sophia church. It was huge but they all are, and so elaborate.

This is the Blue Mosque located next to Hagia Sophia. Another Church that was also huge and amazing.

This is the city Ephesus, or a small part of it that's been excavated anyways. This is one of the oldest cities, or so i've been told. It is where the apostle Paul preached to the ephesians in the great theater (Located in the next picture below), and where it is believed to be the Virgin Mary's final resting place, who knows but it was fabulous! (i'm running out of vocabulary words)

This is another picture that needs no introduction but i'll introduce anyways. This is the Acropolis, the Parthenon in... you geussed it Athens Greece, and it was soo windy on that hill! we also saw Zeus temple, the old olympic staduim along with all kinds of other things that i can't go into detail!

And Last but was First in our stops is Venice. The city built on water. On man did we get lost here over and over again! we wandered down small streets to find dead ends that led us to more streets with dead ends! haha the funny thing is you can see everything you just can't get to it! It was fun though. This picture is St. Mark's basillica and it was gorgeous too. All the churches that we went into on this trip had mosaics painted on the wall with gold everywhere encrusted into the walls. It was crazy. Marble pillars, domes everywhere in the ceilings, it was just fascinating! The third picture is a typical street in Venice.

Well that's it! Like I said a breif narration. Hope it wasn't too boring for you! But man we had such a great time! We have now seen 3 out of the 7 supposed wonders of the world or medieval world, even though i feel we saw over 40 wonders of the world! There is so much history and everything was so amazing to see you can't believe your eyes. We just kept saying i can't believe we're really here. I can't believe we're standing here looking at this! Anyways it was a once in a lifetime trip and some of those places i'm sad to say we'll probably never see again, but I have to say i am soo glad to be home! I love America, and till you go somewhere outside it you don't realize how much you really do love home!

14th Annual Tri in the Pines

Okay so here it is, after two months of training, 7.65 miles of swimming, 160.8 miles of biking and 118.4 miles of running with a total of 34 hours, I competed in the 14th annual Tri in the Pines. It starts with a 625yards swim, followed by a 12.3 Bike and ends with a 3.5 mile run. I had no sleep the night before, woke up completly sick but raced at 7:40 this morning. after hyperventilating underwater (don't ask me how that's possible) in the pool on my warm up lap, throwing up a little in my mouth during the swim underwater and overall just feeling like i could fall over i finished the race! yay accompliment number one! My times were not what i wanted and i'm a little dissappointed, but it was about 10 times harder then i ever thought it would be! Anyways here are the results, I took 1st in my age division and placed 20th out of 43 women overall with a time of... 1hour 40min. Like i said i wanted to be in the 1:25-1:30 but it's okay, when i got out there and started doing it, my goals changed from being in the top ten to just finishing! Oh well overall i didn't do too bad for my first tri and there's always next year right? maybe? What an experience! thanks to all those who came out and supported me, i really appreciate it and it meant alot to have familiar faces in the crowd!

WICKED

So this last Wednesday my friend Sha and I got to go see Wicked at Gammage in Tempe. True we had to spend 4 times the amount of the original ticket, but that's what happens when you wait till a week before they leave. Anyways we had so much fun. We got to go to lunch with Jess and Emily at of course you guessed it Costa Vida's and hung out with them. I always forget just how much fun it is to see my friends again, we could sit, talk and laugh for days without running out of anything to say.

Anyways Wicked was so good and funny, i'm so glad that Sha was able to come with me cuz it was worth the highly expensive seats to go!

The stupid nigh vision camera was blurry, but we were running late so we had to take it after the show.

Westin Resort

A couple of weekends ago we got to go with Sean's family to the Westin Resort in Scottsdale for the weekend. We had so much fun just laying by the pool, hanging out with everyone, eating lots of food, swimming and playing with the kids. It was so hot though, it was around 110 degrees and i got fried! Two weeks later and i'm still sloughing off skin every now and then, gross huh!

Anyways it was worth it, I needed a tan and we needed a weekend away! It was such a pretty place, with a lazy river, pools and a slide that was fun to watch all the kids go down.

We had the kids in our room for a few minutes and they were all riled up! It was funny.

Rafting

So this was like a few months ago, but we finally got this water camera developed so... Sean went for a few days with some friends and they went rafting over in New Mexico. He had alot of fun. He said there were some pretty crazy rapids, But i'm pretty sure he only fell out once. They did some rafting and also took some kayaks out as well. We haven't ordered the good pictures so these are the only ones we have right now so maybe if we ever get around to ordering them i'll post them, they were pretty cool pictures.

I was going to post it's official but then everyone would think i'm pregnant, sooo It is official, I have signed up for the 14th annual high altitude Triathalon on Aug 15th here in Show Low. I have been in training for three long weeks now and today was my first day of actually doing the whole course all the way through, not one right after another but close enough! I am so excited, this will be my first time and i am looking forward to it! although not ever sleeping has put a damper on my energy level, it'll still be worth it. Anyways i will be swimming a little under half a mile, biking 12.3 miles and running 3.5 so it's actually a triathalon sprint but it's still freakin hard and enjoyable at the same time if that's possible! Anyways i'm excited to see what happens! wish me luck!

Glenwood

So I finally got our pictures back from Sean's birthday so i'm now posting a month late. We heard about Glenwood New Mexico from a friend that told us they had some cool catwalks so we decided to take the harley up for Sean's birthday. Little did we know that weekend was windy and cold. We took it anyways and froze all the way down but luckily new mexico was nice and hot! It was a pretty drive and the catwalks were really awesome.

We stayed at this really old hotel that had been built in the 60's or older and there was only like one place there to eat, and everywhere you ate was just out of people's house. It was different but what can you say when they have a population of 403 people ( yes i did look that up)!

If you can't tell, we had bandana's around out faces, coats, hoods, everything. It was soo cold! That's our first real trip on the Harley so it was alot of fun anyway! We had a fun weekend away and are even thinking about going back someday when it's not so dang cold!

BUSTER

So Buster got sick around last wednesday night and has been soo sick for days! He wouldn't even move, i thought he was dying. So for the last 6 days i have been giving him fluids. I have had to hook him up to an IV twice a day to give him fluids becuase he wouldn't eat anything! I took him to the vet on Friday and he had a temp of 105. ( which normal temp for a dog is around 101 or so, just for those who have been wondering!) The vet said she thinks he caught something, and i think he may have ate the pesticide plants outside that were sprayed by pest control a week previous. anyways he's been very sick and FINALLY he is eating and feels so much better on Tuesday. I think if it weren't for the fluids our poor doggy would have died. But he's bounced back and is now annoying as ever again!! haha we love him!

So heres a shout out to my husband. I just wanted to let everyone know how amazing my man is! Sean and I got went down to Tuscon in march and he went to a class that shows how to do overlays over concrete. We got to hang out with my Rob and Tina and their new tiny baby, and Cherie and Nate. We had a lot of fun and i was so impressed with what Sean can do. I had to show some pics of the first projects he's done and they look so good. I swear he can do anything when he wants to!

EASTER

I was lucky enough to have easter sunday off so We went down to my mom's and had dinner with my bro and sis as well. We watched Natalie hunt for easter eggs outside and that was fun as well. We had a good time.

This past sunday Kati and Phil blessed their new baby Livvi in church so we got to go down for a couple of days and spend time with sean's family. It was alot of fun and Livvi is such a beautiful baby!

I think that's about it, still working hard, going strong and looking forward to vacation!

Work

So work has been good, I am really blessed to love my job and the people i work with. I have started working as charge nurse becuase they made me so that has been a new challenge as well. They don't pay you like anything to be charge so you really just take on alot more responsibility for nothing but i guess it has to be done. So i say i love my job but there are really hard parts to being a nurse. I have had the privilege to get to know 2 special people. One is battling a funal infection that spreads through the body. The other is on his third time around with cancer. This weekend they both passed away in my care. I have known them for awhile and their wonderful families so this has been such an emotionally draining experience. One passed away on Friday and the other fought till Sunday. Although this has been by far the hardest experience i have dealt with i am so grateful for the time that I got to know them and take care of them and i wish their families the best they are wonderful. I just felt I should write this down and share it!

Neglected

So my sister asked me the other day if I was ever going to start posting again so i figured I have been neglecting my blog for long enough, but it's hard when there's only two of you and all you do is work!! So my lovely husband bought me an eliptical for my birthday in January and so far i have been running almost every day (except sunday of course) and am up to 2 miles on level 8-if any of you know what that means! My co-workers think i'm crazy that i run 1 mile after work around 830- 900 at night but it sure makes a difference. Sean's starting to get busy again and is bidding alot of jobs which has been great for him, he hates sitting around. He is also growing his hair out becuase i am MAKING him and so far he looks really hot with his new doo. Really we have not alot of exciting news. We are planning a cruise right now. I love Europe it has always interested me. I tried to get Sean to move over there for the summer but it was a no go, so instead we are going to take a 2 wk cruise to Italy, Turkey, and Greece. I am so excited I keep looking up our cruise like everyday to see what else i can plan. It will be fun and we're so excited to go! I think that's about all so far...

Christmas

So i'm a little behind but it's been so crazy busy! We had a great thanksgiving at Sean's parents house with his family and got to see a little of mine as well. I was lucky this year and got both Thanksgiving and Christmas off even though i had to work through both weekends it was good. Christmas was fun as well. We actually did christmas cards this year for the first time in four christmases so that was fun! We spent Christmas with my family and saw both my sisters and their families. We had a good time, and it was so fun to have a bunch of snow on christmas. We woke up and it was snowing! That was the first time i've seen it snow on christmas since i can remember. We've had a very nice christmas and now we're already into the new year, it's already going by so fast i can't believe it. I geuss that's what happens oh well happy new year anyways, and yes it was sean's idea to wear the santa hats!

Guitar Hero

So when i was a freshman in high school i asked my mom and dad for a guitar. Four years later when i was a senior in high school guess what i got for Christmas.... a Guitar!! needless to say as a teenager i really had no desire at that time anymore to learn the guitar. Another four years later my desire has returned! I just started learning the guitar and i have to say it really easy to know how to play its just actually playing and making it sound perfect!! I am getting better at it but my fingers are completely calloused and I've lost the feeling in the tips so i guess it's a trade off but I love playing so we'll see how it goes!

QUIRKS SHMIRKS

My supposedly endless list according to Emily....

1. I Also bite at the skin around my nails, I use to bite my nails alot and i don't do that anymore so i'm moving up! I especially do it when i'm nervous like in an intense movie, anxious or when i'm bored!

2. The WORST habbit i have is i bite my cheeks all the time! Sean always imitates me and makes really ugly faces, but i don't care, i can't stop! I don't even notice alot of times that i do it until like ten minutes into doing it! It is really annoying i hafta agree!

3. I have converations with myself too! I think that's normal! I do it alot when i'm getting ready in the morning, and i have full conversations with my dog buster.

4. I am Terrified of the dark! I will walk faster in my house to get into the light sometimes when i'm alone, like that's gonna help if there's someone in the house, like they can't come into the light! oh well! I think it's from all the scary movies i like to watch!

5. I am the worst person to take compliments! i don't know why but it's really akward for me! My sister says she does this too, but if someone compliments my clothes or something like it i tell them how much i got it for, especially if i got a good deal, WHO does that?! I also say really random innappropriate things, for instance i was complimented on my pants one time and i told them they were really comfortable and stretchy so that you could gain weight and they would still fit! WHAT?! I geuss a simple thank you is too much for my vocabulary.

6. I am someone who has to have alone time! I guess i like to connect with my inner self of something. If i don't get alone time i explode. We'll see how it goes when Sean and I are retired! We'll be the old groutchy couple who hates sitting around and doing nothing yet we have nothing to do!

AND real quick some of Sean's quirks that i've noticed are...

1. He pops his big toe over and over alot, or he takes his big toenail and makes sounds using the coffee table when we're watching TV. He just likes making sounds or something.
2. He likes to grab jean seems and roll them between his fingers, he likes the feel.
3. He will grab my ear at the top and roll that between his finger, and it doesn't feel good but he says he likes it cause he can't do it to his own because of wrestling, he got cauliflower ear!
4. When he does something he knows i don't like, he does this really loud laugh and then starts talking really loud about something random so that he doesn't have to listen to what i'm going to say to him.
5. His pillow has to be on top of mine where they meet, and he always has to sleep on the right side of me!
6. He really loves his job (hard manual labor?!) and he loves being busy. I guess that's why we get along well, we both like to be doing something and staying busy, but then we really appreciate the time we have together.

AND LAST
Not a Quirk but i really love spending time with Sean! There's nothing better then when you're both laughing at things that are funny to you, and probably only you!

D-BACKS and ROCKY POINT

We went to the second to last diamonbacks game that they played this season. We got really good seats right behind their dugout, so i got to see some good close ups of Drew and Connor! it was very nice! It was a really good game, probably one of the best that we've seen them play this season, it was really fun!

We also went to Rocky Point with Sean's sisters and their families. It was perfect weather, we didn't wanna leave. We just relaxed on the beach most of the time, it was really nice, we had a good time!

Our Summer of Weddings!

Sothis summer has been pretty busy especially with all the weddings we have been to. First we flew out to Seattle Washington to got o Sean's little brother Aaron's wedding. We had a great time going to the fish market, and visiting the Air Force base where Aaron is stationed at as a flight loader. We ate some great seafood and Sean and I even ate a raw oyster for the first and last time! Our Next wedding stop was in Mesa where Emily Anderson was married. While we were down there Sean finally got his dream wish and bought a Harley Davisdon Dyna motorcycle, I have even enjoyed riding on it, and when it becomes warm again i think we'll plan a fun trip somewhere! Next we went to Tuscon for my brother Rob's wedding. It was nice to see most of the family again and see how big my neices and nephews are! Our last wedding we attended was Kati and Phil's sealing down in Mesa. We barely made it but we were really glad we were able to attend!

Cruise to Mexico

So for our Vacation this summer we decided to go on another cruise. Since we went to the carribean last year we decided Mexico would be fun. Our first port was Puerto Vallarta. We went on what was called an Extreme Outdoor Adventure. So first of all the way they drive down there is extreme enough, we had to hang on for dear life just to stay inside the vehicle! Anyways we went Ziplining and Repelling. It was so much fun. The ziplines were as long as 500 yards and were so high up that you couldn't see the ground most of the time. We also got to repell down a waterfall and that was really fun too! Our next port was in Mazatlan. We decided to just hang out and see the city. It was also Sean's birthday so we went and got a $10 massage that was one of the best i've ever had! Our last port was in Cabo San Lucas. We went over to a secluded beach called lover's beach which was fun, then went parasailing on the beach, and just walked around all the shops. We had a really fun time. I think we can call ourselves cruiser's now, we love having everything paid for, your room, your food (which is excellent!), and your entertainment! I think you'll see us on another cruise in the future!

Graduation

So I'm starting back in May where I finally graduated nursing school! I sat for my state boards in the summer and was able to get me RN. I am now working at Whiteriver Hospital and am loving it! I'm not in the ER yet where i started but I'm working my way back to it! With the patients i usually get though i feel like I'm in the ICU! They can give me the most stable patients and no matter what, they seem to go south on me! it's awesome! Not really, but I'm enjoying working for the government they treat me really nice, and the people are great there. You definitely experience more down in Whiteriver then you would at some other places, so it's nice to get the experience, and the staff is great down there!
